Admiring  /  this Garamond "O.G." Type Poster by Michael Lashford and Kelly Rodgers. It's gorgeously designed, with a perfect dose of humor.

Dressing  /  exclusively in workout clothes since the weather has taken a turn for the worse, but this sparkly-yet-casual outfit has me inspired to be more creative!

Coveting  /  these wooden letters by WE ArchDesign, because, well -- just look at how beautiful they are. Simple and stunning and useful!

Snacking on  /  Angie's Popcorn, which is delicious and also happens to have some pretty awesome packaging, designed by Sam Soulek.

One of my top goals this year is to spend time really appreciating all the amazing design elements around me, whether it's from style, interiors, or anything else. Pinterest is obviously a great place to peruse for inspiration, especially because it has such a wide range  of things to look at.  So that means I have an official reason to spend all my free time looking at pins, right?

I actually created this print back in 2012 as a Christmas gift, but I think it's worth sharing! This image was a first for me in a lot of ways -- it was my first real attempt at hand-lettering, my first time thinking about how individual letters interact with one another and the space around them, and my first try with manipulating a block of text within a specific shape. A real challenge, to be sure, but it certainly made me realize how much I enjoy this sort of work!

Pinterest is one of my favorite sources for inspiration, whether it's new recipes to try, beautiful interiors, wardrobe styling, or amazing design work. This past week, I've been all about the new year and the fresh start it brings -- an opportunity for healthier food, a home project or two, and classic neutral pieces to add to my wardrobe.
