sketch | fruit

After Tuesday's moodboard and yesterday's decor feature, I was definitely feeling inspired to create some fruity art of my own! As I mentioned before, the moodboard is related to an actual project that I'm working on, and in the process of sketching out ideas and playing around on my computer, I ended up creating this ultra-simple print. I love how two simple shapes can result in something so appealing -- though a lot of credit definitely goes to the gorgeous colors!

If you like this design, you can pick up a print, phone case, stationery, etc. over at my Society6 shop -- and bonus, you can get free shipping (worldwide) through Sunday!

decor | minimalist fruit prints

Today's decor inspiration follows the same lines as yesterday's food-meets-design moodboard. I came across so much wonderful fruit and vegetable themed artwork for today's post, so it really is saying a lot that, in the end, I chose to feature four prints from the same artist! I am absolutely, totally, crazily in love with these minimal prints by Strange Fruit -- the colors are so striking and the fruit really does look good enough to eat! These designs fit my aesthetic to a tee, and I would love nothing more than to hang them up on some crisp white kitchen walls :)

moodboard | freshly picked

More flowers this week, but with some fresh, farmers market-y vibes thrown in! Once again, I've found myself blending together spring and summer and, I admit, I really love the aesthetic that this mix produces. It strikes me as lighter and more carefree than spring yet, at the same time, it lacks the full-on heat of summer. Plus, doesn't this entire board seem like the perfect way to spend Mother's Day?

moodboard | body & mind

In case it wasn't clear from yesterday's post, I'm on a bit of a health kick right now -- or, at least, I'm trying to be! Oftentimes, when I fall into my bad habits (i.e. copious amounts of junk food, excessive lounging, etc.), I forget how good it can feel to be healthy. I thought that putting together this moodboard (foodboard?) might inspire me to embrace the changes I'm trying to make, and it turns out I was right! I mean, look at that gorgeous color palette -- and don't even get me started on how good the food looks...
